WHAT A DAY!

Yesterday, the walls of Dolphin Senior High School, Lagos didn’t just hold an event.
They held Possibility.

We gathered for the grand finale of the 1-Year Illumination Mentorship Programme [IMP] Lagos and our mentees showed up and showed OUT.

The Moment That Shook The Hall: THE DEBATE
Topic:
“Mentorship, Not Motivation, Is the Key to Helping Young People Shine Beyond Limits.”

One by one, school representatives took the stage. Not with speeches. With stories. With research. With philosophers quoted. With real-life truth bombs.

You could feel it.
Motivation gives you a spark.

But mentorship? Mentorship gives you a map. It guides you. It directs you. It stabilizes you when the fire dies down.

The arguments were so strong, the research so deep, that the judges had one choice…
WE DECLARED ALL PARTICIPANTS WINNERS

Because excellence deserves to be rewarded.
So every student went home with cash gifts, books, and data— a thank you for pouring into their minds and into their future.

And this is just the beginning
Yesterday we also:

1. Completed 1 year of IMP Lagos. Thank God for the journey.
2. Inaugurated the IMP Alumni. Our SS3 mentees now move into online mentorship + academic support as they prep for their final exams. We’re with them, every step.
